Tredil was founded in 1986, in the form of S.r.l., formed by three important florentine business groups. Specialized early on in real estate, the initial purpose of the newly formed company is to transform and enhance "Befani Palace", an important building in the city centre of Prato. In 1988 the first important change takes place: the company becomes a S.p.A. but retains its core business in real estate. The transformation of "Befani Palace" continues until early 2000, when another important change occurs: the current shareholding structure takes over the old corporate group and sets the foundations for whats to be the future of the company.
Through extensive capital improvements Tredil quickly reaches 10,000,000 € of paid-up capital, followed by new corporate policies that lead the company to explore new areas of real estate.
Thanks to past experiences of new members and the urge to innovate in construction,Tredil begins a series of collaborations and partnerships which bring about the realization of important real estate transactions. Among the most important and memorable is the complete renovation of the building of via Ripamonti, with a market value of around 25,000,000€ .The client is the company "LVMH Christian Dior" which concentrates on 6,000 sqm. of the building all of its administrative and commercial activity for Italy, and a branch of the Banca Nazionale del Lavoro.
Another interesting work is undoubtedly the construction on behalf of the group "CONAD del Tirreno", of a logistic warehouse for the areas of Tuscany, Sardinia, Liguria and Lazio. The structure, completed in March 2006, has a total area of 53,000 sqm. and is situated near Montopoli Val d'arno.
Among the real estate transactions still under construction it is important to remember the collaboration with S.I.R.IM. S.r.l, a company involved with Tredil which realises actions of urbanisation within a 220,000 sqm. area located in Pistoia. The development plan for the future involves the construction area of 72,000 sqm. of gross surface destined for exhibition, commercial use, offices and residential accommodation. The overall realisation of the project, with a value of 160,000,000€ is partly intended for lease and partly for sale.
Tredil continues to ensure continuity and development of its activities despite the delicate stage of objective difficulty within the real estate sector. Nevertheless, with the incorporation of new personnel and new energies the company is ready to reach, with the recovery of the sector, further important goals.
